The Hundred 2023 odds and prediction for men’s competition 

The Hundred is scheduled to begin this year on August 1, with the first match scheduled to take place between Southern Brave and Trent Rockets in Nottingham.

The Trent Rockets are the defending champions whereas the Southern Brave won the inaugural edition in 2021.

Like the first two editions, a total of eight teams are going to take part, with the Manchester Originals, Welsh Fire, Oval Invincibles, Northern Superchargers, Birmingham Phoenix and London Spirit being the other four teams.

The tournament will run for 27 days, with the final scheduled to take place on August 27 at the Lord's. Here we shall look at the Hundred 2023 odds for winning of each team and will also try to predict their final standing at the end of the tournament.

Trent Rockets – 9/2

The Trent Rockets have the best Hundred 2023 odds of winning the tournament once again. They won the title last time, beating Manchester Originals in the final, and have assembled an excellent roster of international and domestic superstars once again. They have a very strong batting lineup, with names like Joe Root, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Dawid Malan, and Alex Hales forming the domestic batting core, and Colin Munro adding some much-needed overseas firepower. 

They also have some powerful all-rounders, with Rashid Khan and Daniel Sams being the overseas duo and veterans like Lewis Gregory and Samit Patel forming the domestic core. If they look a bit weak somewhere is their pace bowling department, but even that is workable with domestic pacers like Luke Wood and Brad Wheal proving quite effective last season. Overall, they have a pretty strong contingent and look all set to retain the title again.

Manchester Originals – 11/2

The Originals made it to the final last season but lost to the Rockets in a closely-contested match. They assembled a very strong squad last year and have the same strength in their roster this time as well. The pace bowling department looks pretty good with the likes of Jofra Archer, Jamie Overton, Richard Gleeson, Josh Tongue and Fred Klaasen there. Ireland's Joshua Little adds the overseas flavour to their pace department, whereas the spin department also look pretty good, with Pakistan's Usama Mir leading the way.

Only their batting looks a bit too dependent on the exploits of Jos Buttler, Phil Salt and Ashton Turner. That's why other domestic players like Laurie Evans, Tom Hartley and Wayne Madsen have to step up to support Buttler, Salt and Turner.

Birmingham Phoenix – 11/2

The Phoenix were the runners-up in the inaugural edition while they finished fourth in the Hundred table last season. They have been pretty consistent with their performances in both editions and that's why they have the joint second best Hundred 2023 odds of winning the competition.
