England vs Sri Lanka 2021 Series: Live Telecast & Streaming Details, Match Timings, Full Schedule, Squads

England has a busy and long cricket summer ahead in 2021. The hosts began their 2021 summer with a Test series against New Zealand. Unfortunately, a poor showing in the two-match series saw them go down against the BlackCaps by a margin of 0-1. However, the action now shifts to the white-ball series against Sri Lanka from June 23.

Sri Lanka will tour England to play limited-overs matches after a span of nearly five years. They last toured England in 2016 to play five ODIs and the only T20I match. On English soil, both the teams played their last head-to-head game in World Cup 2019 where Sri Lanka stunned the hosts to secure a 20-run win. It will be an opportunity for England to avenge their WC defeat and begin their limited-overs season on a bright note.

Sri Lankan cricket has faced a lot of turbulence due to the ongoing rift between players and the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board. The Islanders will be arriving into this series on the back of an ODI series loss against Bangladesh. On the other hand, England still has a few injury concerns ahead of the limited-overs assignment against Sri Lanka. Although they have recalled a few of their ODI regulars including the likes of Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan to face SL in the three-match T20I series.

ENG vs SL Squads – T20Is and ODIs

England

England has announced a 16-member T20I squad for the three-match series against Sri Lanka. Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, and Reece Topley were not considered due to their injury concerns. Woakes was included in England's T20I squad for the first time since 2015. Also, David Willey and Liam Dawson were two major entrants making a return to the T20I squad.
