 Another thrilling match in the DC vs MI head to head in the IPL was the two teams' league stage meeting in IPL 2019.

MI won the toss and chose to bat first in this match. DC got off to a shaky start, dropping their first game. Shikhar Dhawan got 47 points in 36 attempts. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant batted well, hitting 78 runs off only 27 balls, including seven sixes and seven fours. Pant's innings turned the match around, as DC put up a target of 214 runs for Mumbai Indians to chase down.

MI started well, with captain Rohit Sharma and opener Quinton de Kock putting on a solid partnership. Yuvraj Singh top-scored for the Indians with 53 runs off 35 balls. But DC fought back strongly with their bowlers, picking up wickets at regular intervals and restricting MI to a total of 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. DC won the match by 37 runs as they bowled brilliantly.
