How does the IPL 2023 format work?
The Indian Premier League is in its sixteenth season with 10 teams competing for the coveted championship. The two-month long tournament begins on March 31 and concludes on May 28, with live matches streaming throughout.
IPL 2023 will have 10 teams split into two virtual groups, where each team will play the four teams in the same group once and face the five teams from the other group on two occasions. Each team will play 14 group matches with the top four teams heading into the playoffs.
