GT also kept alive their hopes of defending their title. After beating Rajasthan Royals (RR) last year, can they take down the might of CSK? On Friday, the Titans racked up a huge score of 233 for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs.

Shubman Gill looked in prime form after he scored 129 runs off 60 balls with seven fours and 10 sixes. Sai Sudharsan and Hardik Pandya racked up 43 and 28 respectively to give Shubman support.

Thereafter, the Titans bowled MI out for 171 in 18.2 overs to seal their spot in the final. Mohit Sharma became only the second bowler after Akash Madhwal to pick up a five-wicket haul in IPL playoffs. He finished with figures of 2.2-0-10-5.

Suryakumar Yadav, Cameron Green and Tilak Varma scored 61, 30 and 43 respectively, but their efforts went in vain. Apart from them, none of the MI batters got into double digits.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway remain a key for the Yellow Army as they are in brilliant form. In the bowling department, Deepak Chahar has done well in the powerplay while Matheesha Pathirana has chipped in at the death. Ravindra Jadeja and Tushar Deshpande are also amongst the wickets.
