Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns in Match No.42 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Sunday, April 30 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
MI, led by Rohit Sharma, are not in the greatest of positions as they are placed ninth in the table with six points and a net run rate of -0.620. They will go into the game after losing to Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans (GT) by 55 runs at the same venue in Mumbai.
The Royals, led by Sanju Samson, on the other hand, have a great chance of moving to the top of the table, displacing the Titans. They are placed in the table with 10 points and a net run rate of +0.939 thanks to wins in five out of eight games. They defeated MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 32 runs in their previous match.
