Mumbai Indians (MI) is the most successful franchise in the history of IPL. With as many as five IPL titles since 2013, the franchise has exhibited enormous consistency in a competition as tough as the Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians have always believed in their motto of one family where players, support staff, and the owner share a close-knitted bond with each other.
Mumbai didn't have the greatest of starts in the inaugural edition of the league in 2008. The franchise was blessed with some legendary names featuring in their ranks. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, Shaun Pollock, Harbhajan Singh, and others donned the Mumbai jersey in the first few years. However, it was in 2013 when a core group led by the young skipper in Rohit Sharma managed to get their hands on the silverware for the first time in the IPL.
