Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 65th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Notably, the two teams are facing each other for the first time this season. They had locked horns twice last time around and won a game each comfortably.
As far as this season is concerned, SRH are already knocked out of the tournament with 8 losses from 12 matches. SRH lost their previous encounter to table-toppers Gujarat Titans as they failed to chase down 189 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the star for them with the ball picking up a five-wicket haul while Henrich Klaasen top-scored with the bat. But there was no contribution from the rest of the players, as they ended up going down by 34 runs.
RCB, on the other hand, got their campaign back on track with a stunning win over Rajasthan Royals by a massive margin of 112 runs. Batting first, they posted 171 runs in their 20 overs thanks to half-centuries from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell. With the ball, Wayne Parnell led the way with the new ball as the Royals were skittled for only 59 runs thereby registering a huge win.
This is a must-win game for RCB and they will be giving it all to earn those two points. As for SRH, they will be playing for pride and looking to sign off the competition with decent wins to their name.
