Australia Tour of Bangladesh 2021 Series: Live Telecast & Streaming Details, Match Timings, Full Schedule, Squads

BAN vs AUS | Series Preview

Bangladesh will host Australia for a five-match T20I series in the first week of August. The bilateral series will be the first of its kind between these two countries. Both the teams have faced each other four times in T20Is across four editions of the T20 World Cups since 2007. With such a minimal history in the shortest format of the game, fans will be waiting in anticipation to see Bangladesh vs Australia 2021 T20I series go live from August 3.

The tourists have landed in Bangladesh as they continue to miss the services of their key players including the likes of Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins, David Warner. Aaron Finch, who was ruled out of the ODIs against West Indies, is also unavailable due to his knee injury. While Australia are yet to announce their skipper, Matthew Wade could be handed the captaincy duties for the upcoming five T20Is against Bangladesh.

The host nation too will be beginning the series in the absence of some of its key players. Tamim Iqbal, who is suffering from a knee injury, is out of action for at least two months. Even wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim, who skipped the quarantine deadline, will be forced to give the T20Is against Australia a miss. Liton Das is also unavailable due to personal reasons. Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar are also suffering from Injuries. Hence, Bangladesh will try to compete with this Australian side and win the series at home.
