India vs Afghanistan where to watch: Broadcast channel and live streaming

As the home side gears up for their second match of the Cricket World Cup 2023, take a look at all the details about India vs Afghanistan where to watch.

The hosts India began their campaign with a six-wicket win against Australia in Chennai on October 8th. It wasn't smooth sailing as the demons from their 2019 World Cup semi-final made a brief appearance.

Bowling first, Indian bowlers took control of the match pretty early with Jasprit Bumrah removing Mitchell Marsh in his second over. David Warner and Steve Smith put up a partnership but India kept the run-rate in check. Kuldeep Yadav had Warner caught and bowled to break open Australia's innings.

Left arm orthodox spinner Ravindra Jadeja then ran through the Aussie middle order, removing Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey with some exceptional bowling. Kuldeep then knocked over Glenn Maxwell, Australia's last hope of a big score. Jadeja finished with magnificent figures of 3 for 28 in 10 overs while Kuldeep and Bumrah claimed two wickets each.

Chasing 200, India had a nightmarish start with Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer getting dismissed for ducks and the scoreboard reading 2 for 3. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul then batted brilliantly, putting on a 165-run stand. Kohli made good use of the reprieve he had early in the innings and made 85 runs while Rahul went on to finish the game with an unbeaten 97.

Afghanistan opened their campaign with a clash against Bangladesh, which they lost by six wickets after a poor batting display. Batting first, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran put up a 47-run opening stand. Gurbaz made 47 runs but could not go on to score big.

From 112 for 2, Afghanistan were bowled out for just 156. Defending such a low score, they had a couple of early wickets but could not maintain the pressure. Afghanistan will be hoping for a better showing in the second game.

The two teams will be locking horns at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 11th. The rain should not be an issue in Delhi and we should get a full match, and below is the India vs Afghanistan where to watch details.
