England vs Netherlands head to head faced each other for the first time in the 50-over format back in 1996 and since then, they have played six matches.
Being a stronger side, England have completely dominated the rivalry between the two sides.
England have won all the six matches played against the Dutch in the ODI format from 1996 to 2022. The Netherlands are yet to win a single encounter in this head to head record and they would love to get off the mark in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup in India.
Interestingly, the two teams faced only in the World Cup until the 2011 edition and then played a three-match ODI series only last year which England won 3-0.

The league stage of the cricket World Cup in India is in its final phase as England and the Netherlands will lock horns against each other in the 40th match of the tournament. The clash is scheduled to be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on November 8 (Wednesday).
The most shocking thing about this World Cup is the fact that England are below the Netherlands in the points table. While the Dutch are still mathematically in the hunt to make it to the playoffs, England have been completely knocked out.
England have lost a total of six out of seven matches played so far in this World Cup and are languishing at the bottom of the points table. The defending champions have put up a shoddy performance so far and will be keen on at least winning their last two matches before ending their campaign.
Perhaps, their place at the Champions Trophy 2025 is at stake and will have to win both games to qualify for the tournament.
On the other hand, the Netherlands are in the eighth position in the table with two wins from seven matches. They have beaten South Africa and Bangladesh so far and will back themselves to upset the England side as well with the kind of cricket they have been playing.
They will also be eyeing a spot in the Champions Trophy and will have to be in the top 8 in the table to make it to the competition.
