Rishabh Pant – 3284 runs
India's star wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant is the player with most matches played for Delhi Capitals and it is no surprise he leads the run-scoring chart. He has been a part of the franchise since 2016 and has been their most important batter. Pant has amassed 3284 runs for the franchise from 110 innings at an average of 35.31 and strike rate of 148.53. The left-hand batter has smashed one century and 18 half centuries for DC. Pant’s highest score came against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018, when he hammered 128 not-out in 63 balls.
David Warner – 2572 runs
David Warner, who has been one of the best batters in the league's history, occupies the second spot on the list of players with most runs for Delhi Capitals in IPL. The Aussie batter first played for the Delhi franchise from 2009 to 2013 and returned in 2022. He has scored 2572 runs from 90 innings for the team at an average of 31.36 while striking at 135.36. Warner registered 22 fifties and two hundreds in the DC jersey. In 2010, he smashed 107* off 69 against Kolkata Knight Riders and in 2012, he struck 109* off 54 against Deccan Chargers.
Virender Sehwag – 2382 runs
One of the Indian greats Virender Sehwag, who was known for his attacking style of batting, played the first six IPL editions for Delhi. He was a prolific run-scorer for them, making 2382 runs at an excellent strike rate of 158.37 while averaging 29.77. Sehwag smashed one century and 17 half centuries during his time for the franchise. His best knock for Delhi was against Deccan Chargers in IPL 2011, where he blasted 119 in just 56 deliveries.
Shreyas Iyer – 2375 runs
Shreyas Iyer was a part of the DC franchise 2015 to 2021 and he is fourth on the table of players with most runs for Delhi Capitals in IPL. The former DC captain made 2375 runs from 87 innings at an average of 31.66 and strike rate of 123.95. Shreyas registered 16 half centuries during his stint with Delhi, with the highest score of 96 off 57 versus Gujarat Lions in 2017.
Shikhar Dhawan – 2066 runs
Shikhar Dhawan played the inaugural edition of the IPL for Delhi and then returned to the the side in 2019. He had three consecutive seasons where he scored over 500 runs, including 618 runs in 2020 at 44 average and 145 strike rate. Overall, the left-hand batter amassed 2066 runs for DC from 63 innings at an average of 38.98 while striking at 131. In IPL 2020, Dhawan became the first batter to hit back-to-back centuries in IPL.
Prithvi Shaw – 1892 runs
Prithvi Shaw was bagged by Delhi Capitals in 2018 and while he had a few promising seasons, his career hasn't lived up to potential. The young Indian batter is sixth on the list of players with most runs for Delhi Capitals in IPL. Shaw has scored 1892 runs for DC in 79 innings at an average of 23.94 and strike rate of 147.46. He has smashed 14 fifties in IPL with the highest score of 99.
Gautam Gambhir – 1200 runs
Gautam Gambhir played for Delhi Capitals in the first three IPL editions and later in 2018. He had an outstanding season in 2008, where he made 534 runs at 41 average and 141 strike rate. His other three seasons at DC weren't anywhere as good. Gambhir scored 1200 runs for the franchise at an average of 27.27 while striking at 120.24, including nine fifties.
Dinesh Karthik – 1128 runs
Dinesh Karthik sits eighth on the list of players with most runs for Delhi Capitals in IPL. He was a part of the team from 2008-10 and later in 2014. The wicket-keeper scored 1128 runs for DC from 53 innings at an average of 25.06 and strike rate of 126.03. Karthik registered seven half centuries in the DC jersey with the highest score of 69.
JP Duminy – 1015 runs
South African batter JP Duminy had a pretty good stint with Delhi Capitals from 2014 to 2016.
