David Warner – 3345 runs
David Warner joined SRH in 2014 and carried their batting unit for several years. The man who led Sunrisers to their only IPL trophy, scored 3345 runs for the franchise from 95 innings at an excellent average of 49.55 while striking at 142.59. The left-hand batter registered two hundreds and 40 fifties for the team. Warner was so consistent for SRH that he is the only batter in IPL history to deliver six consecutive seasons with over 500 runs.
Shikhar Dhawan – 2768 runs
Shikhar Dhawan is the one of the most prolific batters in IPL and occupies the second spot on the list of players with most runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The left-hand batter played for the franchise from 2013 to 2018, scoring 2768 runs at an average of 35.03 and strike rate of 125.13. Dhawan hit 21 half centuries for SRH with a best score of 92 not-out.
Kane Williamson – 2101 runs
The New Zealand batter Kane Williamson was part of the SRH side from 2015 to 2022 and in those years, he did a decent job for the franchise. IPL 2018 was his best season, where he amassed 735 runs at 52.5 average and 142.6 strike rate. Overall, he played 75 innings for SRH and scored 2101 runs at an average of 36.22 and strike rate of 126.03. Williamson registered 18 fifties during his stint at Hyderabad.
Manish Pandey – 1345 runs
Manish Pandey is one of the technically sound batters of his generation but could not quite crack the T20 format. He did have his moments, however, with a match-winning knock in a final for KKR. For SRH, he sits at the fourth place on the list of most runs. Pandey scored 1345 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad at an average of 35.39 and strike rate of 124.76, including 12 fifties.
Abhishek Sharma – 1231 runs
At number five on the list of players with most runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad is Abhishek Sharma, who has been part of the franchise since 2019. He had a very good season in 2022 but this year, he has been phenomenal. He has scored 401 runs in IPL 2024 at an incredible strike rate of 205.64, including 75 not-out in 28 deliveries in the most recent outing. Overall, he has hit 1231 runs at 25.12 average and 151.60 strike rate with six half centuries.
Jonny Bairstow – 1038 runs
Jonny Bairstow played three editions of IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad and was excellent in two of those. He has sixth most runs for SRH, having scored 1038 runs from 28 innings at an average of 41.50 while striking at 142.59. Bairstow hammered one century and seven half centuries in his stint for the orange army.
Aiden Markram – 828 runs
Aiden Markram was signed by SRH ahead of the 2022 edition and he delivered an excellent season for them. He scored 381 runs in his debut season for SRH at an average of 47.6 and strike rate of 139.1. Overall, he has 828 runs to his name in the Sunrisers jersey, at an average of 31.84 and strike rate of 132.9.
Heinrich Klaasen – 787 runs
Heinrich Klaasen, one of the best white-ball batters in the world, joined SRH ahead of the 2023 IPL edition and has been magnificent in both seasons. He has climbed to the eighth spot on the list of players with most runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL after just 22 innings. Klaasen has scored 787 runs at an average of 46.29 and strike rate of 180.91, including five fifties and a hundred.
Moises Henriques – 755 runs
Australia all-rounder Moises Henriques was part of the Sunrisers franchise from 2014 to 2017. He made 755 runs during that stint from 37 innings at an average of 27.96 and strike rate of 128.83. Henriques registered five fifties for the team in orange, including the best score of 74 not-out.
Rahul Tripathi – 717 runs
Rahul Tripathi was picked by SRH in the 2022 mega auction and delivered a solid season straightaway. He scored 413 runs in IPL 2022 at an average of 37.5 while striking at 158.6.
