Australia stormed back into the series in the previous game with a Mitchell Starc special bowling performance in the overcast conditions. The left-arm pacer took his ninth five-wicket haul in the previous game and was a major reason why India got skittled for just 117 runs. The visitors then chased down the target in just 11 overs with Mithcell Marsh continuing his good run in the series.
On the other hand, India will be worried with the way their top order is faring at the moment in a World Cup year and that too at home. Having said that, the conditions at Chepauk will also lead to the ball swinging a bit early on and the batters will have to be cautious of that. Despite twin golden ducks, Suryakumar Yadav is expected to retain his place in the XI.
