BookMyShow has released a statement to clarify the challenges faced by cricket fans during their attempts to purchase tickets for the ICC World Cup 2023.
In its official capacity as the ICC World Cup 2023‘s appointed ticketing platform, BookMyShow has shared a sincere message with cricket fans through its official Twitter account.
Fans from across the globe, despite their timely login at 8 PM, faced difficulties in purchasing tickets for India matches. World Cup tickets for the host nation games were released on August 30, but the overwhelming demand resulted in many fans missing out.
What did BookMyShow say about the ticket crisis?
BookMyShow, in light of fan dissatisfaction, responded with an official statement on their official social media channel. The statement was as follows:
“The love for cricket in our country has always been unparalleled, and it has been no different these past few days as several million fans logged onto BookmyShow, all at once, to get hands-on limited tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.”
