We bring you the Afghanistan vs England where to watch details before the two teams meet in the match no. 13 of the Cricket World Cup 2023.
The defending champions England and Afghanistan will be locking horns at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 15th. The weather is expected to be clear with no threat of rain and we should get a full match.
Afghanistan's search for their second win at the World Cup continues after losing the first two games of the ongoing tournament. They were beaten by six wickets in the opening game against Bangladesh, where they were skittled out for just 156.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz made 47 runs at the top of the order, giving them a solid base with 112 runs on the board for two wickets. But then they had a huge collapse and bowlers didn't have much to work with.
In the second game, Afghanistan lost to the hosts India by eight wickets. Hashmatullah Shahidi scored 80 runs while Azmatullah Omarzai made 62 to help the side reach 272 – their highest World Cup score while batting first. But then they were annihilated by Rohit Sharma, who smashed 131 in 84 deliveries.

Up first, the quarter-finals…
England had an awful start to their title defence, losing to New Zealand by nine wickets in the opening game. Batting first, England batters just couldn't hit the top gear with regular wickets and only managed 282 runs on a good batting pitch.
Their bowlers had no answers to Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra, who smashed individual centuries to chase down the target in 36.2 overs.
The reigning champions opened their points account with a dominant victory over Bangladesh by 137 runs at Dharamsala. Dawid Malan was excellent with the bat, scoring 140 off 107 balls while Jonny Bairstow (52) and Joe Root (82) made contributions as they posted 364. Defending the total, Reece Topley made a big impact with 4 for 43 off his 10 overs.
