After leading England to World Cup glory in 2019, Morgan has further enhanced his reputation as a well-sorted leader in the limited-overs format.

In IPL 2020, the English skipper will don the ‘Gold and Purple' for Kolkata Knight Riders as his new IPL franchise. Earlier, in the IPL auction 2020, the Morgan was snapped by KKR for a IPL auction price of INR 5.25 crores.
In the upcoming IPL edition, KKR will hope that the southpaw can flourish in the middle-order and bring his experience to great use for the team. Being a seasoned campaigner, Morgan will also be a critical asset for KKR's leadership group.
Morgan is currently leading the England T20 side against Pakistan. In the 2nd T20I at Manchester, the 33-year old played a match winning knock of 66 off just 33 balls to claim the Man of the Match. The KKR franchise will hope that he can carry his rich vein of form even in IPL 2020 and help KKR lift the title for the third time in IPL history.
