In the first-ever Test series as an opener, he smashed 529 runs in three games.
Rohit registered twin centuries against South African bowlers at Visakhapatnam, scoring 176 and 127 with 13 sixes in total. In the third Test at Ranchi, he scored his maiden double century in the longer format, hitting six maximums in the process.
Shimron Hetmyer
Shimron Hetmyer occupies the third spot on the list of most sixes in a Test series, having smashed 15 sixes in only two Tests against Bangladesh back in 2018. West Indies had a torrid time on the tour as they lost both the Tests, with Hetmyer being the lone warrior in the batting unit.

Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes holds the record for the most sixes in Test cricket. It is no surprise he is on this list as well, with 15 sixes from five Tests in the Ashes 2023. Stokes had a decent series against their arch-rivals in England
In the second Test at Lord's, England were 45/4 while chasing 371 and Stokes put on a Headingley 2019 like epic but this time in a losing cause. He smashed nine sixes in his knock of 155. In the next Test at Headingley, Stokes made 80 off 108 with five sixes as England went on to win the game after being 87 for 5 in the first innings.

When Zimbabwe toured Australia in 2003/04, which remains the last time these two teams faced, Hayden struck 14 sixes in two games. Harbhajan Singh
India's off-spinner Harbhajan Singh could be a surprise entry on this list for many but he had an outstanding 2010/11 season against New Zealand. In the first Test, he hit 69 in the first innings and 115 in the second when India 65 for 6. He struck three sixes in each innings. Harbhajan then scored 111 off 116 in the second Test at Hyderabad with seven maximums.
