India's young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal sits at the top of the pile for the most sixes in a Test series. The left-hand batter has had an incredible series against England so far, scoring 655 runs from four games with two double centuries and two fifties.

Jaiswal has blasted 23 sixes in the series so far and has one more match to extend his record. The 22-yr batter smashed 209 in the first innings of the Visakhapatnam Test where he hit seven maximums. In the second innings at Rajkot, Jaiswal struck 12 maximums in his knock of 214* off 236 and equalled the record for the most sixes in a Test innings.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma had a perfect start to the second wind in Test cricket as an opening batter. When things weren't quite working for him as a middle-order batter, the Indian management decided to open with Sharma and he has been pretty good so far. In the first-ever Test series as an opener, he smashed 529 runs in three games.

Rohit registered twin centuries against South African bowlers at Visakhapatnam, scoring 176 and 127 with 13 sixes in total. In the third Test at Ranchi, he scored his maiden double century in the longer format, hitting six maximums in the process.

Shimron Hetmyer

Shimron Hetmyer occupies the third spot on the list of most sixes in a Test series, having smashed 15 sixes in only two Tests against Bangladesh back in 2018. West Indies had a torrid time on the tour as they lost both the Tests, with Hetmyer being the lone warrior in the batting unit.

The left-hand batter struck four sixes in his knock of 47-ball 63 in the first innings of the first Test at Chattogram. West Indies were following on in the second Test at Mirpur, where Hetmyer blasted 93 off 92 with nine sixes.

Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes holds the record for the most sixes in Test cricket. It is no surprise he is on this list as well, with 15 sixes from five Tests in the Ashes 2023. Stokes had a decent series against their arch-rivals in England

In the second Test at Lord's, England were 45/4 while chasing 371 and Stokes put on a Headingley 2019 like epic but this time in a losing cause. He smashed nine sixes in his knock of 155. In the next Test at Headingley, Stokes made 80 off 108 with five sixes as England went on to win the game after being 87 for 5 in the first innings.

Matthew Hayden

Matthew Hayden takes fifth place on the list of most sixes in a Test series. When Zimbabwe toured Australia in 2003/04, which remains the last time these two teams faced, Hayden struck 14 sixes in two games. In the first Test at Perth, Hayden played a marathon knock of 380, where he hit 11 sixes. He then hit three sixes on his way to an 85-ball century in the second innings of the second Test.

Harbhajan Singh

India's off-spinner Harbhajan Singh could be a surprise entry on this list for many but he had an outstanding 2010/11 season against New Zealand. In the first Test, he hit 69 in the first innings and 115 in the second when India 65 for 6. He struck three sixes in each innings. Harbhajan then scored 111 off 116 in the second Test at Hyderabad with seven maximums.

Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi tormented India when they toured Pakistan in 2006. He smashed 330 runs in five innings in the series at a ridiculous strike rate of 121. Afridi registered two hundreds and a fifty in the series with 14 sixes.

Andrew Flintoff

The English all-rounder had a fantastic series with the bat when South Africa toured England in 2003. He scored 423 runs from eight innings at an average of 53 and strike rate of 79 as the series ended in a 2-2 draw. Flintoff smashed 14 sixes in the series.

Kevin Pietersen

The Ashes 2005 was memorable for many reasons one of those being Kevin Pietersen, who had a coming-of-age series. He made 473 runs in the series at an average of 52.55 with one century and three half centuries. The flamboyant batter struck 14 sixes in 10 innings in that series.

Wasim Raja

10th on the list of most sixes in a Test series is Wasim Raja, who hit 14 sixes on Pakistan's tour of West Indies in 1976/77. Playing against a bowling attack comprising Colin Croft, Andy Roberts and Joel Garner, Wasim Raja scored 517 runs in five Tests at an average of 57.44 and smashed 14 sixes in the series.

A strong believer in the fact that Kohli and Paes are the greatest Indian superstars!
