Delhi Capitals got off to a poor start in the IPL 2024 with back to back losses but bounced back to beat the tournament favourites Chennai Super Kings in the third game. Delhi beat the yellow army by 20 runs at the same venue in Visakhapatnam.
Having opted to bat first, DC had a blistering start as David Warner and Prithvi Shaw put on 93 runs in just 9.3 overs. Shaw made 43 off 27 while Warner scored 52 in 35 balls. Kolkata Knight Riders have had a perfect start to their campaign, winning two out of two games. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 runs in the first game and followed it up with a comprehensive victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru by seven wickets.
