The flamboyant left-hand batter was an integral part of CSK's success for years and it is no surprise he sits at the top of the list of most runs for Chennai Super Kings in IPL. Suresh Raina played 195 innings for CSK during 2008 to 2021 and amassed 5529 runs at an average of 33.10 while striking at 138.91. Raina smashed two centuries and 38 fifties for the franchise, and his knock of 87 off 25 against Punjab in IPL 2014 Qualifier 2 still remains unmatched.
MS Dhoni – 5093 runs
MS Dhoni has arguably been the most popular figure in the history of IPL and is a synonym to Chennai Super Kings. The craze of CSK fans for him can be seen during the ongoing tournament. He has led CSK to five IPL championships as a captain and has been one of the greatest finishers in the league. The Mr Cricket Michael Hussey played for the Super Kings from 2008 to 2015. Murali Vijay – 2205 runs
Murali Vijay was one of the most beautiful ball-strikers in the early years of IPL. He was a key part of the Chennai team at the top of the order until 2013.
