The Chepauk has been a slow pitch, but has always produced some excellent high scoring games too. That should not change in this game and with power hitters on both sides, this will be a fantastic contest.

The opening batsmen will look to score runs, as it is easier for the opening batsmen to score runs with the new ball. The top order batsmen will look to capitalise when the ball is new as it will get tougher for them as the innings goes forward.

We would recommend having Ruturaj Gaikwad as your Captain, as we feel he is in magnificent form and will continue it in this game too. Ravindra Jadeja has been excellent with the ball this IPL and should be your vice captain. This game has a bit for everyone and it will be interesting to see who puts their hands up.

Match prediction: Chennai Super Kings to win 

Chennai Super Kings are still a quality side and and home they are virtually unbeatable. They will want to continue that streak and we feel they will. The understanding of the conditions has to be a big part of the strategy and there is nobody better than MS Dhoni in that aspect. 

Toss prediction: Chennai Super Kings to win the toss and bowl first. 

Even though the pitch gets slower to the end, winning the toss as bowling first is the trend best suited for this ground. This being an afternoon game might change the perception of the teams, as there will be no dew to work with in the second innings.

Man of the match prediction: Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad started the tournament with a blitz but has not been firing on all cylinders since then. He will want to make a comeback and showed some good form in the last game. He will want to do well and get back in form for the super kings.
