In the opening game of a double header on Saturday (May 20), Delhi Capitals will play Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023 match 67 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
The Delhi Capitals (previously the Delhi Daredevils) and the Chennai Super Kings are two renowned Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. Here is a summary of their IPL history and head-to-head records:
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are one of the most successful IPL teams. They have continuously been a good team, making the playoffs in every season save the two (2016 and 2017) when they were barred from the event.
In contrast, the Delhi Capitals (DC) have had a mixed record over the years. They've had their ups and downs and have only made it to the IPL final once, in 2020.
David Warner's DC will seek to continue their winning streak after defeating the Punjab Kings, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK will look to bounce back and stay in the playoff race after losing to the Kolkata Knight Riders.
