The Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have met multiple times in the Indian Premier League (IPL) throughout the years, and while there is no long-standing historical rivalry between these two teams, there have been some entertaining and fiercely contested encounters.
Following a confidence-boosting win over the defending champions, the Delhi Capitals will host the batting powerhouse Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 50th match of the IPL 2023 on Saturday, April 15. Virat Kohli, who is in fine form, will play at his home stadium, the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
In recent years, the Delhi Capitals have had the upper hand in terms of head-to-head record. However, overall RCB has had more significant victories over the Capitals, and the rivalry between these two teams has been fuelled by some intense performances from both teams. RCB defeated DC in the previous edition between these teams in Bangalore. DC will look to take revenge in their home stadium.
