Continuing their form from the previous season, Rajasthan Royals are definitely one of the most dangerous teams this season. An exceptional batting order with an arguably one of the best bowling lineups in the tournament, they have been the team to beat. With 4 wins in 5 games, they find themselves at the top of the table. After an incredible chase against the defending champions Gujarat Titans, their morale will be at an all time high.

The form of Sanju Samson and Shemron Hetmyer will be a huge boost for the Rajasthan Royals. It must be a confidence booster for Samson to see how Hetmyer has taken up the finisher's role. With himself and butter at the top and Hetmyer down the order, RR will feel comfortable chasing any target.

Lucknow Super Giants 

Coming off a game that they would've wanted to win given their condition, Lucknow Super Giants will be extremely disappointed not to have won that game. But there are many positives to look forward to as KL Rahul returns to form, which solves many problems for the Lucknow Super Giants. Although, he needs to be a touch quicker in scoring runs.

LSG have won 2 out of their last 3 games playing away and will hope to make it 3 in a row when it comes to winning games away from home. It will be interesting to see if they bring in de Kock or they stay with Mayers.

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is quite an unpredictable wicket. With an IPL match being played here after a long hiatus,  it is not very certain as to how the wicket will behave. 

It will be hot and humid but will get cooler as the match progresses. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be in the 37°C – 24°C range.

We would recommend having Jos Buttler as your Captain, as not only he is in really good form, but will want to lead from the front and get Rajasthan Royals a win in their home stadium. We would also recommend Yuzvendra Chahal as your Vice-captain, given his ability to pick up wickets in the middle overs and put breaks on the opposition scoring.

The Rajasthan Royals might be the early contenders to win the IPL this season. With a squad full of match winners, and them returning back to play at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium it will take a special effort from the Lucknow Super Giants to come off with a win.

With the uncertainty that surrounds the pitch and how it will behave, it will be quite an easy choice for the captain who wins the toss, to have a bowl first.

Jos Buttler might not be in the form that he showed throughout the last season, but he is still striking the ball extremely well. Saying that we feel he will be back to his brilliant best and guide Rajasthan Royals to another victory, taking them to the top of the table.
