The fifth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is all set to begin in 2021. The local T20 league has provided an abled platform for several budding cricketers of Tamil Nadu to showcase their talent at the big stage. TNPL receives the spotlight for players to be recognized by the talent scouts for their respective IPL teams. Even in TNPL 2021, it will be an opportunity for a lot of youngsters to grab some headlines with their impressive performance in the upcoming season. TNPL 2021 – Schedule, Fixtures & Match Timings

After the postponement of the season in 2020, TNPL will be back in action from July 19. The eight participating teams will lock horns in 31 matches for the course of four weeks. All the TNPL 2021 matches will be played at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Considering the current COVID situation, the league will be played behind closed doors without any spectators.

There will be seven double-header games. The live streaming for day matches in TNPL 2021 will commence at 03:30 PM while the broadcast for the evening matches will begin at 7:30 local time. Lyca Kovai Kings and Salem Spartans will feature in the opening TNPL 2021 fixture. The Playoffs begin on August 10 including two qualifiers and the Eliminator. The TNPL 2021 final will be played on August 15.

Where to watch TNPL 2021 matches in India?

Star Sports is the official broadcast partner for the TNPL. The Star Sports network will telecast the entire TNPL 2021 season in various languages. Star Sports HD 1 will run the broadcast with English commentary while the Tamil viewers can access the action on Star Sports Tamil 1 channel. Hotstar, the official digital media streaming partner for TNPL, will be streaming the 2021 season for all matches.
