Back in 2011, India won the World Cup when they were one of the co-hosts along with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. After Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni helped the Men in Blue to glory, it is time for Rohit Sharma to replicate something similar.

The ICC World Cup live telecast match people must be eagerly waiting for is the one between India and Pakistan. The arch-rivals are scheduled to lock horns on Saturday, October 14 in Ahmedabad.

Prices of hotels and flight tickets have sky-rocketed before the high-voltage clash at one of the world's biggest cricket stadiums. Demands for tickets are also expected to go over the roof.

The ICC World Cup live telecast for the two semi-finals will start at 2 PM IST on November 15 and 16. The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the Eden Gardens in Kolkata are the hosts for the matches. The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 19 in Ahmedabad.

Apart from Australia and Pakistan, India will also face Sri Lanka, England, New Zealand, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh in the league stage.

Last time around when the World Cup took place in England and Wales, India lost to England in the league stage after which they faced a defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the semis. They will now want to make amends.

Earlier this year, the World Cup Qualifiers took place in Zimbabwe from where Netherlands and Sri Lanka managed to advance. West Indies, the two-time champions, failed to make their way through to the main event.

Zimbabwe also looked promising, recording their highest ODI score against the USA. However, they lost their way midway. Now the focus shifts to the ICC World Cup live telecast.
