In the 1992 Cricket World Cup, India vs Pakistan match was held at the iconic SCG in Australia. Winning the toss, India batted first and posted 216 in their 49 overs with major contributions from Ajay Jadeja and Sachin Tendulkar.
Despite chasing a low total, Pakistan capitulated under pressure and failed to hold their nerves in a clash against their arch-rivals. The eventual World Cup winners folded out for merely 173 to hand India a victory by 43 runs.
For his quick-fire 62-ball 54, Tendulkar was awarded the Man of the match. India didn't fare well in the 1992 Cricket World Cup whereas Pakistan were crowned the World Cup champions.
