Rajasthan Royals had an outstanding first half of IPL 2024 before losing their momentum with four straight losses coming into this game. They have 16 points to their credit and a win here will guarantee them a spot in Qualifier 1. The Sanju Samson-led side is coming off a five-wicket loss against Punjab Kings. 

Batting first, RR batters struggled to time the ball and were reduced to 42/3 in 7.2 overs. Riyan Parag scored 48 in 34 deliveries while Ravichandran Ashwin made 28 off 19 but the rest of them had a tough time as they posted only 144. Avesh Khan bagged two scalps early to have PBKS reeling at 48/4 but Rajasthan could not keep up the pressure.
