Chasing 196 for victory, Delhi looked in control all through the run-chase. The duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw gave them a belligerent start at the top. While Shaw was dismissed for a well-made 32, Dhawan kept churning out the runs for the team's cause at a healthy strike rate. The southpaw registered his 43rd fifty and had his team in the driver's seat before being bowled for 92 runs. The Punjab bowlers were never in the contest as both the spinners and the pacers found it difficult to execute their plans with a wet ball against Delhi Capitals. Eventually, Delhi sealed the Yesterday DC vs PBKS IPL match result by a margin of 6 wickets.
