Romario Shepherd from LSG to MI
West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd was the first player to get traded in the trading window. He featured for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023 but has now been traded to five-time champions Mumbai Indians for his existing fee of INR 50 lakh. Shepherd has played only 4 matches in IPL career picking up 3 wickets and scoring 58 runs.
Avesh Khan to RR and Padikkal to LSG
LSG were once again in action in the trading window securing one of the upcoming stars Devdutt Padikkal from Rajasthan Royals for INR 7.75 crore. In return, the Lucknow franchise traded Avesh Khan to the Royals whom they had bought for INR 10 crore in the auction. Both Avesh and Padikkal were poor last season with the former picking up only 8 wickets while the latter scored only 261 runs for RR.

Shahbaz Ahmed to SRH, Mayank Dagar to RCB
Royal Challengers Bangalore used the trading window a bit late but made sure to get Mayank Dagar from Sunrisers Hyderabad for his existing fee of INR 1.8 crore. In return, RCB agreed to trade all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmad who played for them since 2020 edition. Shahbaz was picked up by RCB for INR 2.4 crore in IPL 2022 mega auction. Shahbaz has picked 14 wickets and scored 321 runs in his 39-match IPL career while Mayank Dagar has played only 3 matches in the cash-rich league and picked only a solitary wicket.
Cameron Green to RCB
Cameron Green got to added to IPL auction 2024 trade players list when RCB secured his services in the trading window for a massive amount of INR 17.5 crore. Green played for the Mumbai Indians last season and will be crucial for RCB with his all-round skills in IPL 2024. Green had a brilliant IPL 2023 scoring 452 runs in 16 matches at a strike-rate of more than 160 and also picked up six wickets.
Hardik Pandya to MI
Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya being traded to Mumbai Indians is one of the biggest trades in IPL history. Hardik started his career with MI but was released ahead of mega auction and then GT acquired him for INR 15 crore before naming him the captain. Hardik led GT to the title in their debut season in 2022 and they also made it to the final last season.
With the all-rounder returning to his old franchise, the MI team ahead of IPL auction 2024 is looking extremely strong with a purse close to INR 18 crore still left.
