T20 Schedule – India vs England – 2024

Both India and England have had a complicated year. Both the team management have experienced a few ups and downs. However, both teams appear to be in good shape and will give their all in the limited-overs, starting with the T20s.

India will play 3 T20s and 3 ODIs, once the rescheduled Test match, which is ongoing, is completed. Both India and England have announced their respective squads for the white-ball series.

An Indian side missing several regulars just won a two-match T20I series against Ireland, and most of the players from that team will join the main squad.

t20 schedule india vs england

India has announced two different squads for the T20 series. The first T20 will have the team that is almost familiar as the one that met Ireland last week, and the remaining T20s will see the full-strength side returning to the limited-overs setup. However, Rohit Sharma will lead India in all three T20s and take back the mantle from Hardik Pandya, who led India in the two T20Is in Ireland. The captain’s absence in the Test match will give him enough time with the Indian youngsters who will play the opening T20 game.

On the other side, with the retirement of Eoin Morgan, the World cup winning captain of England, the English Cricket Board has announced Jos Buttler will replace Morgan as the new skipper for the England white-ball team from the Indian series.

Also, it is to be noted that none of the members playing against India in the rearranged fifth Test at Edgbaston is involved in the T20I series, which starts two days after the scheduled fifth day.

What to expect?

The T20 Schedule England vs India has three matches in a span of 4 days, starting right after the Test match. So it will be a test of bench strengths for both teams.

India's bench strength demonstrates the strength of the Indian team. However, England has raised the bar with destructive batsmen such as Liam Livingstone, Jason Roy, and Jos Buttler in its lineup. This will be a fantastic opportunity for both teams to prepare for the T20 World Cup later this year.

This will be an entertaining series because it features two high-quality teams. Predicting the series winner will be underestimating one team. The team that plays the best cricket will win in the end. You can now bet on the India vs England matches on Bet365 Mobile, and find our betting guides on Bet365 Cricket betting.
