India vs Bangladesh match prediction: India to win
India vs Bangladesh toss prediction: Bangladesh to win the toss and bat first
The last Super Four encounter of Asia Cup 2023 is set to be played between India and Bangladesh on Friday (September 15). This is a dead rubber between the two teams with India already qualified for the final. On the other hand, Bangladesh were out of contention after India won by 41 runs against Sri Lanka earlier this week.
It has been a tough tournament for Shakib Al Hasan and his men as they have only managed to beat Afghanistan. They lost to Sri Lanka twice and went down meekly against Pakistan as well putting up some really poor show especially with the bat.
India, on the other hand, played some exceptional cricket against Pakistan and Sri Lanka to register wins by 228 and 41 runs respectively within 24 hours to seal their place in the final. It remains to be seen now if they will rest their main players for the title clash or continue to be ruthless.
Date & time: September 15, 3 PM IST
Venue: R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

India vs Bangladesh match preview
Bangladesh
Bangladesh’s batting has come under massive scanner for their underwhelming show in Asia Cup 2023. With around three weeks to go for the World Cup, the team management will be hoping that they put up a solid show to get their confidence just in time for the mega event in India. For the same reason, they are unlikely to make many changes to their line-up.
Mushfiqur Rahim will not play the game due to personal reasons.

Bangladesh Possible 11: Mohammad Naim, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Litton Das (wk), Shakib Al Hasan (C), Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud.
India
Team India might well think of resting their main players ahead of the final. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Mohammed Shami may get a go. All eyes will also be on Shreyas Iyer who has sustained a back spasm and didn’t play the last two matches for India. If he is fit, he might slot back into the playing XI again.

Pitch and Expected Weather Conditions
Ever since, the tournament has started, there has been a rain interruption in India’s matches at least. Nothing changes in the forecast for September 15 as there is more than a 60% chance of rain during the match. However, it is expected to clear in the evening. As far as the temperature is concerned, it will be around 28-30 Degrees Celsius with a lot of humidity around like it has been right through this week.
The pitch in Colombo has favoured the spinners a lot. This has led to the teams opting to bat first after winning the toss. Win the toss, bat first, post around 240-260 runs and then defend it with spinners turning it big has been a mantra at this venue so far.
India vs Bangladesh Dream11 prediction
Our India vs Bangladesh Dream11 predictions for this match:
- Wicket keepers: Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Litton Das
- Batters: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill,
- All-rounders: Shakib Al Hasan, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Mehidy Hasan Miraz
- Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah
- Recommended captain: Kuldeep Yadav
- Recommended vice-captain: Shakib Al Hasan
Kuldeep Yadav is the best captain pick as he has picked up nine wickets only in the Super Four stage itself. Shakib Al Hasan is another option to make captain especially if Bangladesh bat first. It is better to have more spinners and all-rounders in the team as the pitch is set to be helpful for them right through the match.
Among batters, it is good to have more Indian batters who have batted well so far in the tournament. For Bangladesh, Das is a brilliant option while Shakib is another player who can turn the game on its head.
India vs Bangladesh toss prediction: Bangladesh to win the toss and bat first
Team India batted first on the last two occasions, once after winning the toss and then after losing it. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan might get lucky this time around with the toss and he will opt to bat first in that case.
Man of the match prediction: Kuldeep Yadav
Kuldeep Yadav picked up nine wickets in last two matches but on both occasions, he didn’t win the Man of the match award. This time around though the left-arm wrist spinner will be keen on winning it with yet another match-winning performance against Bangladesh.
