Babar Azam and co. have been the team to beat in this Asia Cup so far. They delivered a superb performance against Nepal at first, where skipper Babar and Iftikhar Ahmed looked in prime form with scores of 151 and 109* to their names respectively.

Shadab Khan also shone, claiming four wickets in the match, as Pakistan won by a massive 238-run margin. 

Pakistan carried their rich vein of form forward into the match against India as their bowlers delivered a superb performance to destroy the Indian top-order. All three Pakistani pacers — Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf were superb as India struggled to get going.

Against Afghanistan, Mehidy Hasan's promotion to the top of the order worked like a charm as the youngster smashed 112 runs, including seven fours and three sixes. Shanto also carried his exceptional run of form forward, smashing 104 off just 105 deliveries.

Their knocks helped Bangladesh in reaching a high total of 334/5 and the bowlers defended the total well, bowling Afghanistan out for 245. After this win, Bangladesh have a good chance of qualifying for the Super 4 as the second placed team from Group B.
