Sachin Tendulkar scored a total of 100 centuries in his International cricket career. Sachin, who played a mammoth 24 years for India at the highest level, became only the first batsmen to register 100 centuries in a career. He holds the record for most centuries scored by any player in the history of international cricket. Currently, Ricky Ponting claims the second spot with 71 centuries while Virat Kohli closes-in with 70 international hundreds in his career so far.
Out of his 100 tons, Sachin scored 51 centuries in Test cricket while 49 came in the ODI version of the game. He scored his 100th international ton against Bangladesh in Mirpur at Dhaka in 2012. It was a glorious cricket career which came to an end in November 2013.
