- Andre Russell – 175.55
Andre Russell is on top of the list of players with highest strike rate in IPL. He has been striking at 175.55 in the cash-rich league ever since he made his debut back in 2012. Russell has batted in 99 innings so far smashing 2377 runs in 1354 balls he faced with 11 half-centuries to his name. He has been playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a lot of years now but has also taken the field for the Delhi Capitals before.
- Liam Livingstone – 164.95
Liam Livingstone’s name in this list might surprise many as he made his IPL debut only in 2019 and has also qualified just in this list having faced 565 deliveries so far. In 36 matches, the swashbuckler from England has scored 932 runs at an average of 31.06 with five fifty-plus scores to his name. Livingstone is currently playing for Punjab Kings and has featured for the Rajasthan Royals before too.
- Sunil Narine – 163.10
Another startling name in this list of the cricketers with highest strike rate in the IPL. Sunil Narine is predominantly a bowler but has made a name for himself as an all-rounder across the globe especially in T20 cricket. He has been striking at 163.10 in his career while playing for KKR in 100 innings that he has batted so far. Narine has faced 740 deliveries smashing 1207 runs with five fifties.
- Nicholas Pooran – 158.07
Nicholas Pooran is the third player from West Indies already in this list and the left-hander is boasing of a strike rate of 158.07 in IPL. He has played 67 matches so far and has scored 1448 runs in 916 balls with seven half-centuries. Pooran is currently turning up for Lucknow Super Giants but has also played for two other teams – Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad – since making his debut in 2019.
- Glenn Maxwell – 156.39
Glenn Maxwell’s relation with IPL has been hot and cold in terms of his batting form. Even then, the Aussie makes it to this list for scoring 2751 runs at a strike rate of 156.39. He has played 30 matches so far in this IPL career and has faced 1759 balls while smashing 18 fifties as well. He is currently featuring for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and has played for Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians as well.
- Virender Sehwag – 155.44
Virender Sehwag is sixth in the list of the player with highest strike rate in IPL. Interestingly, he is the only player in this list who played his last IPL match in the 2010s decade. Sehwag ended his career in the cash-rich league back in 2015 playing 104 matches. But he is still boasts of a better strike rate than many having amassed 2728 runs off 1755 deliveries and also scored two centuries to go with 16 half-centuries. Sehwag played for Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in his career.
- Shimron Hetmyer – 154.24
West Indies players continue to feature in this list and Shimron Hetmyer boasts of seventh highest strike rate in the IPL. He has batted 62 times in the league facing 778 balls and has scored 1200 runs. The left-handed batter has mostly essayed the role of a finisher on majority of occasions in his career but has done well to maintain an average of 33.33 and smash four fifties so far. Hetmyer is playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024 and has turned up for teams like Delhi Capitals and RCB before.
- AB de Villiers – 151.68
AB de Villiers is one of the all-time great players to feature in the IPL. No wonder he is part of this list too having scored runs at a strike rate of 151.68 during his 184-match career in the league. De Villiers amassed 5162 runs in 170 innings facing a massive 3403 deliveries giving nightmares to the bowlers every time he stepped out with the bat on the field. De Villiers also scored 40 fifties and three centuries during his celebrated career in IPL.
- Chris Gayle – 148.96
Another all-time great player Chris Gayle is featuring in the list of the players with highest strike rate in IPL. The Universe Boss boasted of a strike rate of 148.96 during his 142-match IPL career where he amassed 4965 runs in just 3333 deliveries he faced. In fact his strike rate went down a bit at the fag end of his IPL career but has still made it to this list. Gayle scored six tons and 31 fifties during his illustrious career and played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings and RCB in IPL.
- Rishabh Pant – 148.55
Rishabh Pant started to play the IPL only in 2016 and has managed to break in the top 10 of the list of players with the highest strike rate in the IPL. He has so far scored 3032 runs in 103 innings (104 matches) facing 2041 balls at the strike rate of 148.55. Pant who is also the skipper of Delhi Capitals now has hit 17 fifties and one century and has scored runs at an average of 34.45.
