Delhi bowlers fightback before Miller, Morris lead RR to victory
Chasing 148 for victory was surely a less uncomplicated task than what it turned out eventually, The Delhi bowlers saw the Royals on the mat with some quick wickets in the powerplay. At the end of six overs, Royals found themselves in a spot of bother, reeling at 26/3 with two of their best batter back in the pavilion. While the Capitals kept chipping away with breakthroughs at regular intervals, RR failed to stitch any partnership to turn the momentum in their favor.
However, with the likes of David Millar, Rahul Tewatia, and Chris Morris to follow, the ‘Men in Pink' had hope because of the smallish target. Miller didn't disappoint in his first match this season and played a match-defining 62-run knock.
