India at 200 T20Is: Stats and facts you need to know

India became only the second team to play 200 T20 Internationals in men’s cricket on August 3 in the first T20I against the West Indies.

It wasn’t a happy outing for the Men in Blue as they lost by four runs while chasing down 150 to concede an early lead to the West Indies in the five-match series in what was a historic match for them.

They played their first T20I in December 2006 and it took them a staggering 12 more years to play their 100th T20I, against Ireland in 2018. Five years later, the Indian team played their milestone 200th T20I which proves how much cricket has become T20-centric over the years.
