India, on the other hand, have won seven matches on the trot and are at the top of the table. Rohit Sharmaโ€™s men will be high on confidence after beating Sri Lanka by 302 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

India beat South Africa by seven wickets when the two teams last met in an ODI on October 11, 2022 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

After opting to field first, India bowled the Proteas out for 99 in 27.1 overs. Barring Heintich Klaasen, who scored 34 runs off 42 balls, none of the South African batters showed resistance.
