The Knight Riders need all sorts of permutations and combinations to go their way if they are to advance to the playoffs. Their confidence wo be on the higher side after Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated them by nine wickets on Thursday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed the fastest IPL fifty off 13 balls to take the sting out of the KKR bowling attack. On the back of his knock, the Royals chased down the target of 150 with 41 balls to spare. It remains to be seen how KKR respond after the crushing defeat.
