The Delhi Capitals, led by David Warner, started their campaign with five losses on the trot. But having won three out of their last four matches, the Capitals are starting to climb the ladder, although they are placed at the bottom of the table with six points and a net run rate of -0.768 courtesy of wins in three out of nine matches.

They will go into the DC vs RCB match after beating Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans by five runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After opting to bat first, the Capitals scored 130 for the loss of eight wickets. Barring Aman Khan, who scored his maiden IPL fifty, none of the DC batters challenged the GT bowlers.

They will go into the DC vs RCB match after beating KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. After being put in to field first, LSG restricted RCB to 126 for the loss of nine wickets. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis put on 62 runs for the opening wicket off nine overs. While Kohli scored 31, du Plessis racked up 44 runs.

After Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Kohli, RCB lost momentum completely. Naveen-ul-Haq picked up three wickets while Bishnoi and Amit Mishra got two wickets apiece. K Gowtham got the crucial wicket of Anuj Rawat.
